The Grant Thornton Invitational kicks off Friday at Tiburon Golf Club in Florida, featuring unique teams of LPGA and PGA Tour professionals competing for a $1 million prize.


Defending champions Lydia Ko and Jason Day return to defend their title, while fan favorites Lexi Thompson and Rickie Fowler team up for the second consecutive year. The tournament uses a traditional scramble format for Friday's opening round.

Television coverage begins at 1 p.m. ET on Golf Channel, with streaming available through NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports App for cable subscribers.
