The PGA Tour's opening event of 2025, The Sentry, features a strong field of 59 players but several notable stars will be absent from the $20m tournament in Hawaii.

Key Players Missing:

Scottie Scheffler (World No.1)

  • Withdrew due to hand surgery after Christmas Day glass injury
  • Expected to return at the AmEx later this month

Rory McIlroy (World No.3)

  • Opted to skip event, only played once in 2019
  • Will start his season at Dubai Desert Classic

Tommy Fleetwood
