Lima Golf Club, established in 1924, is a historic parkland-style course located in the San Isidro district. The club underwent a renovation by Mackenzie & Ebert in 2018 and has hosted several major tournaments, including the Copa Los Andes and the 2019 Pan American Games.

The LAAC champion receives significant privileges:

  • Invitation to the 2025 Masters Tournament
  • Automatic qualification for The 153rd Open Championship
  • Spot in the 125th US Open at Oakmont Country Club
  • Full exemptions into The 130th Amateur Championship and U.S. Amateur Championship

Runners-up benefits include:

  • Exemption into final qualifying for The 153rd Open
  • Exemption into final qualifying for the 125th U.S. Open Championship
  • Second and third place finishers receive exemption for The Amateur Championship

The LAAC was founded by The R&A, The Masters, and The USGA to develop golf in Central and South America and the Caribbean. Notable alumni include PGA Tour winner Joaquin Niemann (2018 champion), along with professionals Nico Echavarria, Sebastian Munoz, Mito Pereira, and Alvaro Ortiz.

The tournament continues to be a significant pathway for Latin American golfers to compete at the highest levels of amateur and professional golf.
