Charley Hull has made a £10,000 bet to quit smoking over the next two months, as revealed in her recent Instagram story at Sunningdale Golf Club. The bet was made with fellow professional golfer Ryan Evans.

In a video shared on social media, Hull is seen handing over her cigarettes to Evans, declaring that if she smokes within the next two months, she'll owe him £10,000.

The Solheim Cup star previously made headlines at the 2024 US Women's Open when she was photographed smoking on course. Hull has admitted to smoking approximately five cigarettes per round, explaining she started smoking as an alternative to vaping.

"I find it quite funny, because I actually do go to the gym and I'm a very healthy person," Hull previously stated. "I only smoke. I hardly drink. I don't need to drink because, actually, I can have a fun time without it."

The 28-year-old Englishwoman has maintained strong form despite her smoking habit, securing victory at the Aramco Team Series Riyadh in November 2024 and finishing runner-up at The Annika. In 2025, she has already achieved two top 20 finishes in her LPGA Tour starts and reached the last-16 stage at the Sunningdale Foursomes alongside Georgia Hall.
