Brooks Koepka has broken his silence regarding claims of his potential return to the PGA Tour, following comments made by Fred Couples on Seattle's KJR 93.3 FM radio station.

Couples, a World Golf Hall of Famer, had stated that based on regular conversations with Koepka, he believed the five-time major champion wanted to return to the PGA Tour. This claim sparked significant attention, given Koepka's current status as one of LIV Golf's premier players alongside Bryson DeChambeau and Jon Rahm.

During a press conference at LIV Golf Singapore, Koepka addressed these claims directly. He confirmed regular communication with Couples, including a text exchange following the publicized comments. However, Koepka's response about his future plans remained notably ambiguous.

"I have a contract obligation out here to fulfill, and then we'll see what happens. I don't know where I'm going," Koepka stated. "Right now I'm just focused on how do I play better, how do I play better in the majors, how does this team win."

The timing of this discussion coincides with ongoing negotiations between the PGA Tour and PIF. While PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan recently acknowledged the "ebbs and flows" of these negotiations, a final agreement appears unlikely in the immediate future.

Golf fans can expect to see Koepka compete against PGA Tour players at the 2025 Masters, alongside other LIV stars including Rahm, DeChambeau, and Phil Mickelson.
