DeChambeau Tests Mysterious New LA Golf Driver At The Showdown
Bryson DeChambeau was spotted testing a never-before-seen LA Golf driver during practice for The Showdown event. The club features his signature 'BD' logo, lead tape, and LA Golf branding, catching the attention of fellow competitor Brooks Koepka.
The mysterious driver appears to utilize an LA Golf BAD Prototype shaft, the same model DeChambeau currently uses in his Krank Formula Fire LD. While specific details remain unknown, DeChambeau previously announced plans to release "the most innovative driver ever made" in partnership with LA Golf in 2025.

This development follows DeChambeau's comments at The Open Championship, where he mentioned "working on some things" with LA Golf. The driver was also glimpsed during a recent Reebok photoshoot featuring DeChambeau's LIV Golf team, Crushers GC.

Despite testing the new driver, DeChambeau was seen using his current Krank driver during a practice round at Shadow Creek. The anticipated 2025 release will face competition from other manufacturers, including Cobra's recently launched DS-ADAPT Range.
