Emotional Mansell Claims First DP World Tour Title With Dramatic Final-Hole Birdie In Singapore
Richard Mansell clinched his maiden DP World Tour title at the Porsche Singapore Classic with a dramatic final-hole birdie, finishing at -16 after a closing six-under 66 in the rain-shortened 54-hole event.
The Englishman's victory was highlighted by an exceptional front nine, where he recorded five consecutive birdies between holes 4-8. Despite dropping a shot at the 10th, Mansell recovered with a birdie at the 13th and sealed the win with a crucial two-putt birdie from over 100 feet on the 18th.

After near misses in the past, including a collapsed four-stroke lead at the 2022 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, Mansell credited his success to renewed focus and support from his family, particularly his wife Ellie, who was emotional at greenside when the winning putt dropped.

"So many people have supported me and believed in me when I stopped doing it myself," Mansell reflected after his victory, marking a significant milestone in his career since turning professional in 2017.
The DP World Tour continues next week with the Hero Indian Open at DLF Golf & Country Club in New Delhi.
