Jerry Foltz Blasts Former LIV Golfer Chacarra's Character and Performance After Controversial Exit Comments
Former LIV Golf player Eugenio Chacarra's recent criticisms of the league have sparked controversy, particularly drawing a sharp response from LIV broadcaster Jerry Foltz.
Chacarra, who won the 2022 Bangkok Invitational, expressed disappointment over unfulfilled promises of OWGR points and Major tournament access. He stated that "on LIV, nothing changes, there is only money" and claimed he wasn't "treated as a winner" during his time with the circuit.

Jerry Foltz strongly countered these claims on the Fairway to Heaven podcast, questioning both Chacarra's performance and character. "There's a reason we didn't talk about him much - it's because he didn't play very well for the last two years," Foltz stated, adding that teams' reluctance to sign Chacarra stemmed from his displayed character over two-and-a-half seasons.

Chacarra, who earned approximately $16 million during his three seasons with LIV, now faces a 12-month PGA Tour suspension before becoming eligible to compete there in late September 2025. In the meantime, he plans to participate in Asian Tour events, including the upcoming International Series India alongside players like Bryson DeChambeau and Joaquin Niemann.
The 24-year-old Spaniard will be replaced on Sergio Garcia's Fireballs team by Luis Masaveu as he pursues his PGA Tour ambitions.
