Joel Dahmen Sinks Crucial Putt To Keep PGA Tour Dream Alive At RSM Classic
Joel Dahmen faced a critical moment in his PGA Tour career, sinking a crucial five-foot par putt on the 18th hole at the RSM Classic to make the cut and keep his Tour card hopes alive.
Currently sitting at No. 124 in the FedEx Cup standings, Dahmen needs to maintain his position inside the top 125 to secure his PGA Tour status for 2025. After making the pivotal putt, an emotional Dahmen declared, "My story's still not done."

The 37-year-old, who won his only PGA Tour title at the 2021 Corales Puntacana Championship, has struggled this season with just one top-10 finish and 10 missed cuts. Despite being projected to fall to No. 126 going into the weekend, Dahmen remains determined to fight for his Tour status over the final 36 holes.
"It was a great putt. I was very nervous," Dahmen admitted after racing his initial 40-foot birdie attempt five feet past the hole. "It wasn't the game winner, it was like the half-court shot to get us like at halftime."
The battle for Tour cards remains intense as Wesley Bryan, who started at No. 125, missed the cut and dropped to a projected No. 127. Zac Blair, previously No. 123, is now projected at the crucial No. 125 position despite also missing the cut.
