Jordan Spieth has shared his perspective on The Masters, calling it "technically the easiest Major to win" among golf's four major championships. His assessment is based on two key factors: the smaller field size and the familiar, more forgiving course at Augusta National.

As a former Green Jacket winner, Spieth explains that Augusta's reputation and prestige have perhaps been overstated, particularly regarding players like Rory McIlroy who face additional pressure to complete their career Grand Slam.

"Augusta's just blown up more than it probably should be," Spieth told Golf.com. "If you look at the field, it's technically the easiest Major to win, so the more I think someone focuses on that, the better."

Spieth notes that he has managed to contend at Augusta even during periods of poor form, primarily because the course is more forgiving off the tee compared to other major venues. "I've contended there when I've had next to nothing, and there's no real reason for that," he explained.

This experience has given Spieth a confident outlook heading into future Masters tournaments: "I think the fact that I've been there when I've been playing poorly and played well and had a chance to win, now I'm like, Well, I don't really care how I'm playing. It doesn't matter. That's a nice place to be."

While The Masters remains golf's most-watched tournament with the largest audience, Spieth suggests that its difficulty level may have been exaggerated due to its prestigious status and rich history.
