Jordan Spieth currently declines TGL participation despite the league's growing success, citing family commitments and logistical challenges as primary factors. The three-time major champion lives in Dallas with two young children under four, making regular travel to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida's SoFi Center impractical.

While Spieth appreciates TGL's concept and its success in reaching new golf demographics, he's declined substitution opportunities from fellow players. He suggests a Dallas venue could make participation more feasible, potentially forming a team with Scottie Scheffler, Will Zalatoris, and Tom Kim.

TGL has demonstrated flexibility in its inaugural season, recently signing Tony Finau to a one-match contract when Justin Rose and Tommy Fleetwood were unavailable. The league's co-founder Mike McCarley hints at possible expansion to new venues after the first season.

Spieth maintains positive relations with TGL, having discussed involvement since its inception. He acknowledges the league's successful moments, particularly highlighting the Tiger vs. Rory match and the Presidents Day triple-header. While future participation isn't ruled out, it would likely require either significant schedule adjustments or a more convenient venue location.

The simulator golf league continues to evolve, with potential expansion plans that could include new franchises, player transfers, and additional venues. Should TGL expand, securing high-profile players like Spieth and Scheffler would likely be a priority, though timing and logistics would need to align for such partnerships to materialize.
