Thomas Detry leads at 18-under-par after a commanding third round, holding a five-shot advantage over Jordan Spieth, Michael Kim, Daniel Berger, and Rasmus Hjogaard, who are tied at 13-under.

Despite coming off wrist surgery, Spieth has displayed impressive form, making just one bogey through 54 holes while gaining strokes in every aspect of his game: 1.83 on approach, 0.61 off the tee, and 0.96 putting.

Spieth's trademark dramatic style was on full display during Saturday's round, particularly at the par-4 17th and 18th holes, where he managed to save crucial pars despite challenging situations. His recovery shots and clutch putting reminded fans of his vintage performances.

The three-time major champion acknowledged some technical adjustments in his comeback, particularly focusing on his backswing. "It's a lot of the backswing stuff," Spieth explained, noting that he's incorporated a rehearsal into his pre-shot routine to address lingering effects from his wrist injury.

Five shots behind Detry, Spieth sees an opportunity to play aggressively on Sunday: "Being five back means there's a little bit of the pressure off because it's just go gun sling and try to make birdies."

Spieth's resurgence comes at an ideal time for the PGA Tour, providing star power and excitement ahead of the Super Bowl. His performance, regardless of the final outcome, has already injected much-needed energy into one of the Tour's signature events.
