LIV Golf And DP World Tour Consider Separate Agreement For Coexistence
Bloomberg reports that LIV Golf is considering a separate deal with the DP World Tour, potentially allowing both tours to coexist harmoniously. This development comes as talks between the PGA Tour and Saudi PIF continue to progress slowly.
The potential agreement could focus on coordinating tournament schedules to avoid conflicts and allow LIV Golf players more opportunities to participate in DP World Tour events. The deal might include financial incentives from Saudi PIF to increase prize money in DP World Tour tournaments.
Currently, nine LIV golfers hold DP World Tour membership for 2025, including Jon Rahm, Tyrrell Hatton, and Sergio Garcia. While these players face fines and suspensions, the DP World Tour has shown flexibility in working around event schedules.

The benefits of such a deal could be mutual:
- DP World Tour would receive increased funding and star power
- LIV Golf players would gain access to Official World Golf Ranking points and major tournaments
- Both tours could operate without schedule conflicts
The DP World Tour maintains that discussions with the PGA Tour, PGA Tour Enterprises, SSG, and PIF are ongoing, with no agreements reached yet. The success of any potential deal may depend on the PGA Tour's position and its existing relationship with the DP World Tour.
