The discussions with Fox Sports are particularly notable as LIV Golf previously explored a potential deal with the network in September 2022. That arrangement would have involved LIV purchasing airtime on Fox Sports 1.

O'Neil has already shown involvement in potential Fox Sports negotiations, having played in a pro-am with Jordan Bazant, Fox Sports' EVP of business development and media. The timing is crucial as LIV Golf prepares for its 2025 season opener in Riyadh this February.
