DeChambeau expressed his excitement about visiting India for the first time, stating his enthusiasm for being a global player and competing in new countries. The tournament winner will secure a spot in the following season's LIV Golf series, with the International Series schedule concluding in Saudi Arabia.
This appearance continues the close relationship between LIV Golf and the Asian Tour's flagship series, bringing one of golf's biggest names to the Indian subcontinent for what promises to be a landmark event for golf in the region.
