Joaquin Niemann, LIV Golf's 2024 runner-up, has secured invitations to both The Masters and the PGA Championship for the second consecutive year. The Chilean golfer, currently ranked 68th in the world, earned his Masters spot through his previous Latin America Amateur Championship victory.

Niemann's recent performances have been notable, particularly outside of LIV Golf. He won the 2023 Australian Open, qualifying him for the 2024 Open Championship, and claimed victory at the 2024 Saudi International. In the LIV Golf League, he has secured two wins in 2024 (Mexico and Saudi Arabia), finishing second to Jon Rahm in individual standings.

Despite being ranked 14th in Data Golf's rankings and 9th in The Universal Golf Rankings, Niemann's Major championship record remains modest. His best finish from 22 Major appearances is T16 at the 2023 Masters. Last year, he made the cut in all three Majors he entered, with his best result being T22 at The Masters.

Fellow LIV Golf player Sergio Garcia has also received a PGA Championship invite after finishing 3rd in the LIV Golf League last season. David Puig, currently ranked 77th globally, may be the next LIV player to receive an invitation to the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club.

For the remaining 2024 Majors, Niemann will need to qualify through traditional qualifying routes for both the US Open and The Open Championship.
