McIlroy and Scheffler Test New Nike Prototype Golf Shoes During Las Vegas Showdown
Nike enthusiasts McIlroy and Scheffler were recently spotted wearing prototype golf shoes at The Showdown in Las Vegas. The new footwear models show notable design changes from their previous preferred shoes.
Scheffler, who typically wears the Air Zoom TW20, has been seen sporting a modified design since the Presidents Cup, with further alterations visible at the Hero World Challenge and The Showdown.

McIlroy's new prototype differs from his usual Air Zoom Victory Tour 3 in several ways:
- Two additional spikes on the sole
- Slimmer midsole design
- "Victory" branding on the tongue (also present on Scheffler's model)

During the event, McIlroy was also testing new equipment beyond footwear, including the TaylorMade Qi35 driver, which he previewed on his Instagram story. This same driver model was recently used by World No.1 Nelly Korda at the Grant Thornton Invitational.
