Niemann and Hojgaard Return to The Masters with Special Invitations for 2025
Joaquin Niemann and Nicolai Hojgaard have accepted special invitations to compete in the 2025 Masters Tournament, as announced by Augusta National Golf Club chairman Fred Ridley.
Niemann, currently ranked 71st in the Official World Golf Rankings, will make his sixth Masters appearance following a successful 2024 season that included two LIV Golf wins, a victory at the Saudi International, and strong finishes in DP World Tour events.

Hojgaard, ranked 60th globally, returns for his second Masters after making his debut last year where he achieved a T16 finish and briefly led during Saturday's play. The Ryder Cup winner's invitation comes despite falling just outside the world's top 50 at the start of 2025.

The 2025 Masters will mark a historic moment as Nicolai's twin brother Rasmus is also set to make his debut, making them the first pair of twins to compete in the same Masters Tournament in its 90-year history.
Fred Ridley emphasized that these invitations align with Augusta National's mission to develop global interest in golf, continuing their tradition of inviting deserving international players who haven't qualified through standard means.
Currently, 87 players have been invited to compete in the 2025 Masters Tournament.
