Adam Hadwin experienced a challenging Genesis Invitational, missing the cut after finishing 10-over par through two rounds at Torrey Pines. His opening round was particularly difficult, scoring an 11-over 83 with 10 bogeys and one double-bogey, offset by a single birdie.

Despite improving significantly with a one-under 71 on Friday, Hadwin still missed the cut by five shots. His wife Jessica, however, found humor in the situation by creating a Valentine's Day card featuring his Thursday scorecard.

Jessica shared her creation on X (formerly Twitter), featuring Hadwin's first-round scorecard against a background of hearts with the caption "This scorecard isn't attractive but you are!" She mentioned creating several Valentine's memes from his scorecard but only shared the most family-friendly version.

During the challenging first round, Jessica had posted several humorous updates, including: "This is absolutely nothing against my husband, but I am getting legitimately scared to refresh the PGA Tour app anymore." She later joked about deleting her posts before her husband could see them.

The light-hearted Valentine's gesture likely helped lift Hadwin's spirits following his early exit from this PGA Tour signature event.
