PGA Tour Expands Creator Series to Three Major Events in 2025
The PGA Tour is expanding its creator-focused initiatives with three new Creator Series events in 2024, building on the success of last year's Creator Classic which garnered over 2.6 million views and engaged nearly 60 million fans across social media.
The three events will be held at prestigious venues during tournament weeks:
- March 12: The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass
- May 7: Truist Championship at Philadelphia Cricket Club
- August 20: Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club
Each event will feature unique formats and fields comprising over 20 popular golf content creators. The competitions will be professionally produced with PGA Tour broadcast elements like ShotLink data and shot tracing, streaming on YouTube and other platforms.

This expansion follows the successful inaugural Creator Classic, where former PGA Tour China winner Luke Kwon emerged victorious. The events are produced by Pro Shop Studios, co-founded by Netflix Full Swing producer Chad Mumm.

The initiative aligns with the PGA Tour's broader strategy to engage new audiences, complementing their recently formed Creator Council which includes prominent golf influencers to enhance fan engagement and collaborations.
"This series expands our partnership with the PGA Tour as we showcase the unique power of digital creators to engage new audiences and cement golf's growing presence in the cultural mainstream," said Mumm.
