Russell Henley Wins Arnold Palmer Invitational with Dramatic Eagle at Bay Hill
Russell Henley secured his fifth PGA Tour victory at the 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational, clinching a one-shot win over Collin Morikawa with a dramatic eagle chip-in on the 16th hole at Bay Hill.

Starting the day one shot behind Morikawa, Henley shot a final-round 70 to finish at 11-under par. The victory, worth $4 million in the Signature Event, marks his most significant win to date.
The tournament turned on the par-5 16th hole when Henley chipped in for eagle from behind the green, taking the lead from Morikawa who failed to convert his birdie attempt. Henley maintained his composure through the final two holes, making crucial par saves to secure the victory.
"It's unbelievable," Henley said. "Hats off to Collin, he played great today, he played super steady, but sometimes golf is just mean like that."
Morikawa, who held a three-shot lead entering the back nine, posted an even-par 72 to finish second. The defining moment came when his three-shot advantage evaporated following a bogey on the par-3 14th and Henley's subsequent birdie.
Corey Conners finished alone in third at nine under, making his first birdie of the day on the 16th hole after 15 consecutive pars.
The victory adds to Henley's previous wins at the World Wide Technology Championship, Shell Houston Open, Honda Classic, and Sony Open, but stands as his most prestigious championship to date.
