Six-time LPGA Tour winner Jessica Korda is planning a return to competitive golf in 2026 following the birth of her first child in February 2024. Korda, who hasn't competed since May 2023 due to a back injury and pregnancy, is taking advantage of the LPGA Tour's maternity policy that allows up to 24 months for return after childbirth.

Recently, Korda has started practicing again for the first time since giving birth to her son Grayson. "I'm definitely sore. It's been a year and some months that I didn't hit any golf balls at all," she explained during the Grant Thornton Invitational, noting muscle soreness in her shoulder, forearm, wrist, and glutes.

During her time away from competition, Korda has maintained involvement in the sport through TV work, including coverage of the 2023 CME Group Tour Championship.
