Solheim Cup stars Charley Hull and Georgia Hall advanced in the 91st Sunningdale Foursomes with a narrow 1up victory over Ella and Daniel Butteriss on the Old Course. The match drew large galleries eager to watch the Major winners in action.
Former football star Gareth Bale made his tournament debut but was eliminated after losing on the 18th hole. Bale and partner Matthew Wylie fell to Cohen Boyer and Hugo Rouillon despite rallying from an early deficit.
