Sun Day Red, Tiger Woods' clothing brand, has announced professional golfer Karl Vilips as its first brand ambassador. Vilips, the 2024 Korn Ferry Tour Rookie of the Year, shares several career parallels with Woods, including attending Stanford University and showing early professional success.

The 23-year-old Australian secured his PGA Tour card after finishing 19th in the 2024 Korn Ferry Tour standings. During his rookie season, he claimed victory at the Utah Championship and earned a runner-up finish in just 10 appearances.

Vilips was first spotted wearing Sun Day Red apparel in October 2024 after earning his PGA Tour playing rights. The brand's website now features Vilips' signature collection, including polo shirts, pants, midlayers, and the 'Pioneers Cypress' golf shoes previously worn by Woods himself.
The partnership marks a significant milestone for Sun Day Red, which launched in February 2024 following Woods' departure from Nike after 27 years. While Vilips has yet to make his PGA Tour debut in 2025, this collaboration represents the brand's first expansion beyond its founder.
