Tiger Woods Sets TGL Return Date After Mourning Mother's Death
Tiger Woods will return to competitive golf on February 18th during upcoming TGL matches following the passing of his mother Kultida Woods on February 4th at age 80. His return will be at SoFi Center as his Jupiter Links team faces New York Golf Club.
Woods pulled out of the Genesis Invitational at Torrey Pines this week, stating he wasn't ready to compete while still processing his mother's loss. His last interaction with Kultida was at a TGL match on January 27th, where Jupiter Links won 4-3 in overtime.

Torrey Pines is honoring Kultida's memory with a white pin flag on the seventh hole, symbolizing purity, wisdom, and longevity in Buddhist culture. The number seven also holds significance in Buddhism's seven factors of enlightenment.

Woods hasn't played a PGA Tour event since missing the cut at The Open Championship at Royal Troon in July 2024. He underwent his sixth back surgery after that appearance and was most recently seen finishing runner-up with his son Charlie at the PNC Championship.
