2025 U.S. Women's Open Qualifying Set for Historic Major Championship Venues

The USGA has announced 26 qualifying sites for the 2025 U.S. Women's Open at Erin Hills, including four prestigious venues that previously hosted major championships.

The qualifying lineup features 23 U.S. locations and three international sites in Japan, Canada, and Italy. Notable venues include:

  • Olympic Club's Lake Course (San Francisco) - Host of 2021 U.S. Women's Open
  • Druid Hills Golf Club (Atlanta) - Site of 1951 U.S. Women's Open
  • Salem Country Club (Peabody) - Hosted 1954 and 1984 U.S. Women's Opens
  • Del Paso Country Club (Sacramento) - Venue for 1982 U.S. Women's Open

This will mark the first U.S. Women's Open at Erin Hills, which previously hosted the 2017 U.S. Open won by Brooks Koepka. The course will become the 16th venue to host both the men's and women's national championships.

Qualifying Schedule:

April 15-May 13, 2025

  • U.S. Sites: 23 locations across multiple states
  • International: Chiba Prefecture (Japan), Milan (Italy), Coquitlam (British Columbia)

All qualifiers will be 36-hole events. The main championship will be the 80th edition of the U.S. Women's Open, following Yuka Saso's victory at Lancaster Country Club in 2024.
