The tournament marks another strategic expansion for LIV Golf's influence, following their acquisition of prestigious venues like Valderrama and El Camaleon Mayakoba. DLF Golf and Country Club previously hosted the Hero Indian Open.
This event will kick off the 2025 International Series, which plans to feature 10 tournaments across new destinations and established markets. The series, backed by LIV Golf, offers its rankings leader a coveted spot in the LIV Golf League, with the current season's qualification battle culminating at the Saudi International between contenders John Catlin, Ben Campbell, and current leader Peter Uihelin.
