Rory McIlroy secured his coveted Masters victory and completed the career Grand Slam, marking a historic achievement that took over a decade to accomplish. McIlroy's journey began with his first major win in 2011, and by 2014, he had secured three legs of the Grand Slam, with only the Masters remaining.

Fellow pro Keegan Bradley emphasized the unprecedented pressure McIlroy faced, stating, "I was nervous watching and I wasn't playing. I had this feeling that I don't know if another human being in the golf world has felt that type of pressure ever."

Speaking on GOLF's Subpar podcast, Bradley highlighted why winning the Masters as the final leg made McIlroy's achievement particularly special: "People can say all they want about these other majors, but the Masters is the biggest one. You win the Masters, you are doing that until you are 85. For a player like Rory not to have that is ridiculous, so I'm excited he did."

McIlroy's career Grand Slam places him in elite company as only the sixth golfer in history to achieve this feat, joining legends Gene Sarazen, Ben Hogan, Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus, and Tiger Woods. His victory came after several close calls and years of building pressure, making the accomplishment even more remarkable.

During a roller-coaster final round, McIlroy persevered to claim the green jacket, later acknowledging the immense pressure he had been under. This victory not only completes his Grand Slam but also cements his legacy in golf history.
