Team USA Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley has addressed his viral locker room speech from the Presidents Cup that was shown on Netflix's Full Swing series, expressing surprise that the private moment was aired.

At the Presidents Cup celebration, Bradley delivered an enthusiastic speech to his teammates, declaring "We're gonna go to Bethpage to kick their f*ing a!" in reference to the upcoming Ryder Cup. The moment was captured by Netflix cameras and included in the show.

"Listen, I thought I was in a locker room with my team," Bradley explained. "That's what happens in a locker room. I meant no disrespect to the Europeans. This was a time that we had just won the Presidents Cup, and it was my turn to address the team."

Bradley admitted being caught off guard by Netflix's decision to air the private moment: "I was a little surprised, yeah. But again, I have to know that in this day and age, especially with cell phones, everything's being recorded."

Addressing concerns that his comments might motivate the European team, Bradley stated: "I don't think the Europeans need any more motivation to win the Ryder Cup. They're a special group of players and the Ryder Cup means a lot to them. When the Ryder Cup comes along, they really seem to come together and play their best golf."

Bradley, who shot a first-round 69 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, emphasized that his passionate speech simply reflected his personality and enthusiasm for the role: "That's who I am. That's me. I'm a pretty excited person. I'm very excited about the Ryder Cup. I think my enthusiasm towards the Ryder Cup showed there. It was meant for our team."
