LIV Golf star Talor Gooch has expanded his sporting portfolio by acquiring the Mississippi Blues Angling Club, a Sport Fishing Championship team. This marks his second professional sports team purchase through FJS Ventures, following his earlier investment in the Professional Bull Riders' Oklahoma Wildcatters.

The combined investment in both teams ranges between $20-30 million, made through FJS Ventures, where Gooch holds majority ownership alongside partners Preston Lyon and Brandon Bates. The company is also exploring potential investments in the Big3, X Games, and a USL soccer franchise.

Gooch's investment capabilities stem largely from his successful LIV Golf career. In 2023 alone, he earned over $36 million, including $12 million from three individual titles and an $18 million bonus for topping the individual standings. His total career earnings include over $7.5 million from the 2024 LIV Golf season, more than $10 million from his first LIV Golf season, and over $9 million from his PGA Tour career.

Lyon has also expressed interest in potential future investment opportunities with LIV Golf, particularly in Gooch's current team, Brooks Koepka's Smash GC, stating they would "want to sit at that table when the opportunity presents itself."
