Nelly Korda Sweeps Major LPGA Awards Following Dominant Seven-Win Year
Nelly Korda has dominated the 2024 LPGA season, claiming both the Rolex Player of the Year and Annika Major Award following an exceptional seven-win campaign that included her second Major title.

The 26-year-old World No.1 secured $4.2 million in prize money through an incredible season that saw her win five consecutive tournaments early in the year, including the Chevron Championship. Her remarkable run extended to six wins in seven starts at the Mizuno Americas Open in June, before claiming her seventh victory at The ANNIKA at Pelican in the final regular-season event.
In the majors, Korda finished:
- Winner at the Chevron Championship
- T2 at the AIG Women's Open
- T26 at the Evian Championship
- Missed cuts at both the US Open and Women's PGA Championship
Her Major performances earned her the Annika Major Award, while her overall dominance led to the Player of the Year honor. This marks back-to-back American winners of the Player of the Year award for the first time since Betsy King and Beth Daniel in 1993-94.
Korda heads into the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship at Tiburon Golf Club looking to add an eighth victory and the $4 million winner's prize to cap off her remarkable year.
"It's been crazy, it's been such a fun year, full of ups and downs, but I am so, so grateful for my team," said Korda. "It's been an amazing year and I'm so grateful to be doing what I love."
