Tiger Woods may soon join the PGA Tour Champions, according to golf legends Paul Azinger and Bernhard Langer. The duo shared their predictions at the Chubb Classic promotional event at Tiburon Golf Club.

Azinger, Golf Channel's lead analyst for PGA Tour Champions broadcasts, believes Woods feels obligated to play on the senior tour due to his Player Impact Program earnings ($10 million in 2023, $15 million in 2022).

Bernhard Langer, who holds the record for most senior tour wins at 47, is "convinced" Woods will participate in several PGA Tour Champions events. Langer recently played alongside Woods and his son Charlie at the PNC Championship, noting Tiger's continued competitive spirit and love for the game.

Woods becomes eligible for the PGA Tour Champions when he turns 50 on December 30th, 2024. His potential participation could significantly impact the senior tour, bringing global media attention and elevating competition levels.

However, Woods' physical condition remains a concern. With his history of surgeries affecting his legs and back, he may only be able to play selected tournaments. While major championships likely remain his priority, occasional PGA Tour Champions appearances could fit into his schedule.

The golf world will get a clearer picture of Woods' capabilities during his upcoming comeback from injury, which will help indicate his potential involvement in senior tour events.
