The 22-year-old phenom turned professional in 2023 and quickly made his mark, earning KPGA Player of the Year honors after securing two titles and five runner-up finishes. Currently ranked No. 135 in the Official World Golf Ranking, Jang was set to compete in the Q-School's final stage on December 12 before accepting the LIV deal.

Iron Heads team captain Kevin Na expressed enthusiasm about the signing: "As a promising young talent from Korea, I've been following his career for years. The Iron Heads needed young talent like his to push our veterans, and I'm confident he has what it takes to become a world-class golfer."

The Iron Heads, who finished second in the 2024 LIV Dallas team championship after a 13th-place regular season, have retained Jinichiro Kozuma and Danny Lee for 2025. Jang will replace Scott Vincent on the roster.

The 2025 LIV Golf season commences February 7 in Saudi Arabia, marking a new chapter in Jang's professional career and strengthening LIV Golf's presence in Asian golf.

The signing represents another significant talent acquisition for LIV Golf, as the organization continues to attract promising young players from the international golf scene. For Korean golf, Jang's move establishes a new pathway for young talents to compete on a global stage, particularly significant with LIV's planned event in Korea this year.
