World No. 2 Xander Schauffele Sidelined With Rib Injury Since Late 2023
World No.2 Xander Schauffele is currently dealing with a right rib soft tissue injury that has been affecting him since late last year, according to Golf Channel reporter Todd Lewis. The injury has forced Schauffele to withdraw from recent events including the American Express and his hometown Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines.
Though Schauffele played through the injury at The Sentry, he is currently resting and not making any full swings. His participation in the upcoming AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am remains uncertain.

- World No.1 Scottie Scheffler (recovering from hand surgery)
- World No.5 Collin Morikawa (reason not disclosed)
