Eugenio Chacarra Seeks New LIV Golf Team After Fireballs GC Exit
Former Fireballs GC member Eugenio Chacarra is actively seeking a new team for the 2025 LIV Golf League season after being released from his contract. Speaking after shooting a nine-under-par 62 at the Hong Kong Open, Chacarra confirmed his agent is in talks with other teams.
"My contract is up and I am out of Fireballs, but there are other teams and my agent is talking and helping me through," Chacarra stated. He expects to have meetings during December's PIF Saudi International tournament to discuss potential opportunities.

The 24-year-old Spaniard had a challenging 2024 season, finishing 39th in the Individual Standings with just two top-10 finishes. He attributed his performance struggles to playing through injury in the first five events of the season.
"It was hard for me to compete against the best in the world injured," Chacarra explained. "But after that I have been playing quite solid and everyone out there knows me, and knows I am a solid player and when my putts go in, I go low."

Chacarra's previous successes include winning LIV Golf Bangkok in October 2022 and claiming victory at the Asian Tour's St Andrews Bay Championship after a 10-hole playoff. Now healthy, he remains optimistic about his future prospects: "I am grateful it is back to normal; I can now get back in shape and get my game in shape and I'm excited for sure because I love the game of golf."
