Watch: Jon Rahm's Near Slam-Dunk Ace In YouTube Golf Match
Jon Rahm's near ace came during a casual round with YouTube channel Bob Does Sports at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. The LIV Golf star was taking on members Robby Berger, Nick Stubbe, and Joseph Demare in an 18-hole match.
On the 133-yard fifth hole, Rahm hit a spectacular shot that nearly resulted in a hole-in-one. The ball struck the flagstick and dramatically bounced back out, leading Rahm to playfully toss his hat in frustration while remarking he "would have definitely took off running" had it dropped.

Despite the near-miss, Rahm went on to win the match 3&2. The YouTube video documenting the round quickly gained popularity, accumulating almost 500,000 views within days of being uploaded.
The friendly match took place following Rahm's successful inaugural LIV Golf season, where he won two events and earned an $18 million bonus for finishing first in the individual standings. His last competitive appearance was at the DP World Tour's Andalucia Masters in October.
