LIV-Fox TV Deal Sparks Harsh Criticism from Golf Analyst Brandel Chamblee
Golf Channel analyst Brandel Chamblee has strongly criticized the newly announced LIV Golf-Fox TV broadcasting deal. The multiyear agreement marks a significant milestone for LIV Golf, securing mainstream television coverage for their events.

Chamblee questioned the financial structure of the deal on social media platform X, specifically wondering whether Fox paid traditional broadcast rights fees or if it was a time-buy arrangement like LIV's previous deal with CW, which operated on a revenue-sharing model.
When challenged about his consistently negative stance on LIV Golf, Chamblee responded sharply, stating, "Why would anyone who is not being paid to obscure their objectivity 'cover' LIV in a positive manner. The money comes from the sewer and the product stinks worse than the source."
The deal represents a major development in the ongoing competition between LIV Golf and the PGA Tour, suggesting LIV's continued presence in professional golf despite ongoing PGA Tour-PIF negotiations. While specific financial terms remain undisclosed, reports indicate Fox will likely pay LIV Golf a rights fee for broadcasting privileges.
The 2025 LIV Golf season is scheduled to begin February 7-12 in Saudi Arabia, with events to be broadcast on Fox networks under the new agreement.
