- Low-amateur honors at the Spanish Open
- Ranked 16th in World Amateur Golf Rankings before turning pro

After turning professional, Masaveu quickly showed his potential with a T9 finish at the Asian Tour's International Series Qatar and made the cut at the Saudi International. He follows other young talents joining LIV Golf, including Yubin Jang (22) and Frederik Kjettrup (25).
Masaveu replaces Eugenio Chacarra, who joined LIV Golf in 2022 as World No.2 amateur and won both the 2022 LIV Golf Bangkok Invitational and 2023 St Andrews Bay Championship on the Asian Tour. Chacarra's future competition options include DP World Tour invites and the Asian Tour, as he faces a 12-month restriction from PGA Tour appearances following his most recent LIV event.
